This policy explains what information harveymyers.com ("I", "me") collects through harveymyers.com and how it is used. The short version: I only collect what you choose to send me, I use it only to reply to you, and I never sell it.
What I collect
- Contact form: your name, email address, company (optional), your message, and the ROI estimate if you used the calculator.
- Security data: a one-way, salted hash of your IP address, kept for up to one hour to stop spam. The raw IP address is not stored.
- Preferences: if you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is saved in your own browser's storage. It never leaves your device.
- A session cookie that protects the contact form against forgery. It contains no personal information and expires when you close your browser.
This site uses no advertising cookies, no third-party trackers and no analytics scripts. Fonts and icons are served from this site, so your visit is not shared with font or icon providers.
How I use it
- To reply to your enquiry and, if you ask, to arrange and deliver a time audit or project.
- To protect the site from spam and abuse.
I do not sell, rent or trade your information, and I do not use it for automated decision-making or to train AI models.
Who it is shared with
Messages are delivered by email through my hosting and email providers, who process them only to provide those services. I may disclose information if required by law.
How long it is kept
Enquiries are kept for up to 365 days unless we start working together, in which case they are kept for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information I hold about you at any time. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or California's CCPA), you may have additional rights, including the right to complain to a data protection authority.

Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection and uses strict security headers, a content security policy, and spam and forgery protection on the contact form. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but I take reasonable steps to protect your information.
